Twisted Systems

From twisted minds come twisted products.

Twisted Systems is my former business. Twisted products include web page design, network consulting, Windows help file production, technical writing, desktop publishing, and user interface design, among other things

In the past (in case you're wondering just what kinds of twisted products we've produced), Twisted Systems has produced:

  • Web site consulting and design for the Episcopal Diocese of Oregon.
  • Web design for Fiddle Creek Creations.
  • Web design and layout for Travelin' Magazine.
  • Order out of chaos at Gaylord Industries. I organized their 45-station ethernet and installed and configured a Windows NT Server system for them, among other things.
  • User interface consulting for Media Architects. I served as a reality check during the design and release phases of their two Visual Basic custom control packages, ImageKnife/VBX and MediaKnife/VBX.
  • Windows help files for Media Architects. I created help files for their two Visual Basic custom control packages, ImageKnife/VBX and MediaKnife/VBX.
  • Electronic publishing consulting for Travelin' Magazine. I helped my dad (the publisher) make the jump from traditional typesetting and layout to digital production. This is an ongoing task.
  • A Windows help file for Planet Productions. I created a small help file that was really an interactive tutorial for using Visio for a specific task for a client of theirs.
  • Technical documentation for Media Architects. I created and maintained the user manuals for their two Visual Basic custom control packages, ImageKnife/VBX and MediaKnife/VBX.
  • Technical consulting for Planet Productions on a medium-sized CD-ROM multimedia database for one of their clients.
