  • Rural Heritage Magazine - A bi-monthly magazine supporting farming and logging with horses, mules, and oxen.
  • Draft Horse Journal - This big quarterly, approximately 200 pages per issue, has been serving the trade since 1964. It is America's oldest all-breed draft horse publication. These folks also publish The Draft Horse Primer, an excellent resource for those new to draft horses (and mules) that includes reprints of long out-of-print USDA, extension, and implement pamphlets.
  • Small Farmers Journal  - This is a great quarterly published out of Sisters, Oregon that is all about farming with draft power. It has been around for a long time. It features everything from articles about training to reprints of owner's manuals of old farm equipment (like corn binders).
