Here are the official results for the NOVICE foil event of the Salem Classical Fencing Spring Invitational Tournament, held on Saturday, April 17, 2004 at the Salem Family YMCA in Salem, Oregon.

This event was restricted to those fencers with less than 18 months of fencing experience. Fencers who have previously taken first place in a fencing tournament are prohibited from competing in the NOVICE class. Fencers ranged in age from 12 years old to 50-somethings.
