Here are the official results for the TEAM foil event of the Salem Classical Fencing Winter Invitational Tournament, held on Sunday, January 25, 2004 at West Salem High School in Salem, Oregon. This was the final event of the three-event tournament.
This event was open to all fencers regardless of fencing experience. Fencers ranged in age from 12 years old to 30-somethings.
Final standings were as follows:
1st - University of Oregon
2nd - Tillamook Leftovers
3rd - West Salem High School
4th - Salem Family YMCA Fencing Studio
The University of Oregon was represented by:

The Tillamook Leftovers consisted of:
Rebecca Bassett, captain (Tillamook Fencing)
James Duncan (Tillamook Fencing)
Rafael Villarreal (Salem Family YMCA)
Garron Taylor (Fort Vancouver Classical Fencing)
(This team came together at the last minute, as Tillamook had two team members sick. Our thanks to Rafael and Garron for filling in.)
West Salem High School was represented by:

The Salem Family YMCA Fencing Studio was represented by:

The teams were seeded based on the achievements of their members in the previous day's events. The teams were seeded as follows:
1. Salem Family YMCA Fencing Studio
2. West Salem High School
3. University of Oregon
4. Tillamook Leftovers
The event format was a single elimination bracket. Each match consisted of nine bouts lasting up to three minutes each. Each bout was fought to the next increment of five total points, for a total of 45 points. Teams with an optional fourth person are allowed one substitution per match. The matches were as follows:
Round 1
YMCA vs. Tillamook: 38-39 (Tillamook)

West Salem High School vs. U of O: 13-44 (U of O)
(directed by Michael Heggen, Salem YMCA Fencing Studio)
Final round
West Salem High School defeated the Salem YMCA: 43-42 in sudden death overtime for third place.

U of O defeated Tillamook 12-45 for first place.

The data for round B2 (YMCA vs. West Salem) has three bouts (noted) in which the scores do not match up with the paper record. Corrections would be most welcome
